We're so excited and grateful for those of you traveling from afar to celebrate with us. We truly hope you can make some extra time to hang out in Girdwood and explore our wonderful home.

Drive-to-Girdwood_edited_edited.jpg

Nestled between mountains and ocean, getting around Girdwood is easy. A quick drive, walk, bike, or ride via the free hourly shuttle can get you to the brewery (with kid zone!), park, hiking trails, Alyeska resort, town square, and our ceremony venue.

Below is a smörgåsbord of possible things to do & places to stay, along with some helpful maps (and a stokey video).

Choose your own adventure!

Where to Stay

There's a variety of options around town for accommodations.

We highlight some of our favorites here.

AirBnb / VRBO

AirBnB & VRBO rentals are probably the most prevalent option in town (for better or for worse), so feel free to poke around and see what you find!

Girdwood Ski Inn

This is a great option right in the heart of downtown Girdwood. You'll definitely be "in it", sandwhiched between a bunch of restaurants, our beloved little grocery store, The Merc, and super close to the park, fields, & forest fair pavilion!

Camping

For all you bums out there (joking. kind of.) Girdwood also has some camping opportunities in the Forest Fair Pavilion! This can be a little trickier as it's first come first serve, but, that just means you have to get here early and stake your claim / have more fun.....? :D

Hotel Alyeska

There are tons of rooms at the Alyeska Resort. Secluded on the edge of town, it provides perks like a dope pool, sauna, gym (and you're right at the base of Alyeska Mountain).

Explore Girdwood

There's awesome stuff to do in the Girdwood valley -- and even more just a short drive away. Feel free to hit us up if you have any questions in particular, and we hope these resources serve as a good starting point to plan your trip!

Summer Trails

One of our favorite things about living here is the immediate access to hundreds of miles of trails right out our door. Hiking, biking, flat, steep, whatever you're looking for, Girdwood's got it.

For the kiddos!

We know a lot of y'all will have kids in tow. Awesome!! Girdwood offers a lot of simple pleasures for kiddos: Exploring forests, stomping in puddles, and rallying with other kids at the park.
